All you need to do is understand the principles of R-Quattro technology. What is R-Quattro technology? Simply put, R-Quattro is one of the most strategic and effective progression systems ever developed to move you from burning minimal calories per workout to over ONE THOUSAND calories per workout in as little as four weeks. We go over the entire R-Quattro system in DETAIL in our brand new free report, but here’s a simple synopsis.
Can You Burn a THOUSAND calories in ONE workout? WOW! Is that even possible? Frankly, I don’t know yet, but I’m certainly looking into it. All I know at this point is that their free report is excellent! You can get a copy for yourself. I’ll give you the link to the download page below. My friends and fitness experts Joel Marion and Arnel Ricafranca just released a report entitled “4 Keys to 4xs FASTER Fat Loss,” and for the next few days it’s 100% freee to download: To pick up a free copy to review for yourself, just click this link: 4 Keys to 4xs FASTER Fat Loss. So far, here’s what I know about the report. They reveal 4 unique “under the radar” methods to have you legitimately burning 1,000+ calories in a SINGLE workout, and WITHOUT having to work out for hours on end, either. Here’s the deal. They are launching a new fitness product, and obviously they hope that when you review the free report, you’ll consider buying their product. Hey, fair enough. There are no strings and you don’t have to purchase anything to get the free report, but I’ll warn you: after you see [...]

I heard something recently that rang so true I thought I’d share it with you. It has particular application to our quest for fitness. Some of you may have heard it before. Unfortunately, I don’t know where it originated. Please take time to add this to your arsenal of helpful thoughts when you are “thinking” about skipping a workout: “Thinking determines what we want. Action determines what we get.” Isn’t that great? Most of us seem to be better “thinkers” than “doers” when it comes to staying fit. I’m always thinking about changing my workout or changing my eating habits, but I frequently fall “a little” short in the implementation stage. Do you ever have that problem too? Maybe committing this saying to memory and making it our mantra will help.

OK, just added WiiFit Plus to my “workout” arsenal. I haven’t had time to evaluate all its games and activities yet, but I can say that the balance board is going to be extremely good for my stiff, inflexible body – especially the yoga, but all of the balance games in general. Remember the philosophy of IDigFitness.Com – “if its fun, you do it.” Well, Wii Fit is definitely fun, and I think I’ll definitely be doing it (probably more than I should). Question is, will I get a measurable fitness benefit? We’ll see. My first impression is that it will have both physical and mental health benefits. Playing games is something we adults should do more of. We’ve gotten all too grown up and serious. I’ll keep you posted on how my opinion of Wii Fit progresses as I use it more.

I’ve always thought so, and my belief was, at least, partially correct. However this study is one of those I didn’t enjoy reading because it indicates that one of my long-held beliefs about exercise may be wrong. To keep my ego in tact, I want to point out that many, if not most, fitness and health experts have suffered under the same mistaken belief. Here’s what I’m talking about. We’ve all been told that one of the benefits of working out is that it raises your body’s metabolism and that you keep burning calories at an increased rate for up to 24 hours following a workout. Would that it were true! Unfortunately, at least one new study indicates that we are going to have to put that belief in the “myths about exercise” category. In a report, published in the Journal Exercise and Sport Sciences Reviews, Edward Melanson, an exercise physiologist and associate professor of medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver and some colleagues discuss research to date on the issue of burning fat during and after exercise. The authors conducted a study of 65 exercisers of various ages using different levels of exercise, and non-exercise. Sadly, the [...]

I don’t know how many different ways there are to say it, but fitness should be fun. Just to prime your pump, here’s an example. This post is being done from the Denver airport after two days of hiking in the Rocky Mountains National Park. I wasn’t slogging along on a treadmill watching the timer to see how much longer I needed to go. I wasn’t trying to “get fit.” I wasn’t worried about “getting my workout in.” But guess what. Without even thinking about it, i got in about ten hours of cardio in two days while at the same time having two of the most exhilarating days of my life in some of the most magnificent natural surroundings on the planet. Beats a health club every time. Granted, we can’t do our workouts under these conditions every day, but the point is, fitness should be fun. Find a way to make that true for you, and you won’t have to worry about getting fit any more. You won’t have to try every new fad diet that comes out. You won’t have to buy every new “Revolutionary Workout” book that hits the bookstores. You’ll be fit – and you’ll [...]

Are you one of those people who thinks you need to spend a bunch of money on a fitness club membership to get a good workout? Here at IDF we think the fitness club fad has just about run its course. Oh sure, it’s a nice, healthy social outlet, but don’t kid yourself. Its not necessary to belong to a fitness club to get in great shape. I won’t go into all of the ways you can workout using just your bodyweight, but here are a couple of teaser exercises to get you going, and if you are doubting whether bodyweight exercises are really beneficial, these two exercises should make a believer out of you. Develop Your Upper Chest with super-slow feet-elevated push-ups. This is what Jon Benson calls the 20-second push-up. I don’t know what your current level of fitness and strength is, so I’ll give you some alternatives.
There is only one way to lose weight, eat less and move more – it’s that simple. There are some diets and different things that you can do to speed up the process, but it takes a little work and it takes cutting out the junk in your diet. Taking action increases our metabolism. The activity gets your body to start burning that extra fat stored in different parts of your body. A fun way to do this is by jumping rope. It is inexpensive, fun, and it will set your mind and body back to your youth triggering good feelings about being fit. So here is a little refresher on jump roping. Getting Started Length Stand in the middle of the rope and pull the handles up your sides. They should reach to your arm pits. Any shorter and it will be easy to get caught in your feet or on your head. Any longer and it might get too long and bulky to use. The Workout If you’re out of shape and starting to workout, just try to keep active for a few minutes at first. Believe me, your body will tell you when you’ve had enough. Don’t [...]
