		<description><![CDATA[OK, maybe that&#8217;s a little dramatic, but as you age, that becomes more and more the way it is. You can get on the path of gradual physical and mental deterioration (the two are related), or you can stay fit and vibrant. Which do you choose? I&#8217;ve heard it said more than once, “After you hit 40, it’s downhill all the way?” Really? Is that true? Is that the path you choose for yourself? There&#8217;s a Nun in her 70s who has completed the Ironman Triathlon 10 consecutive times &#8211; maybe more by now! In case you don’t know, that’s a 2.4 mile open water swim in the ocean, followed by a 112 mile bicycle ride through the Kona lava fields, followed by a full marathon (26.2 mile run). It&#8217;s tough &#8211; very tough! I know. I&#8217;ve done it. So drop the “age” excuse. It doesn’t fly. There are many people in their 70s, 80s and even 90s, who still hike mountain trails, play tennis, run marathons, and look fantastic.
