Are You Making Your Kids Fat?

Following up on yesterday’s post, another study of over 100 obese children reported in Clinical Pediatrics found that more than half were overweight by 24 months of age and 90% were overweight by the age of five.

Researchers are not sure about the reasons for rapid weight gain early in life, but contributing factors are believed to be poor diet, early introduction of solid food, and not getting enough exercise, the researchers said.

You parents out there take heed. Your decisions seriously affect your children’s lives down the road. Things like diet and exercise are within your control.
